Hydraulic hoses

Choosing a replacement hydraulic hose

Start with the machine documentation and existing hose markings. Record the complete hose designation, internal diameter, required length and both end connections. Before ordering, confirm pressure, fluid, temperature, bend-radius requirements and whether the item is hose material or a finished assembly. The hose rating alone does not establish the rating of a complete assembly.

Same diameter and length, different recorded pressures

These four catalog examples all list 12.7 mm internal diameter and 25 m length. Their recorded operating pressures differ, even between the two 2SN versions. Confirm the current specification of the exact SKU with the seller; this comparison does not establish machine compatibility.
