Used excavator or wheel loader: buying checklist

Specify the job first

For an excavator, state operating weight, digging depth, reach, undercarriage and attachment requirements. For a wheel loader, state bucket size, lift height, payload and site access. Record the country where the machine will work and whether local service is available.

Inspect the actual machine

Ask for serial number, year, recorded hours, maintenance history, ownership documents, photos of wear points and a recent operating video. An inspection by an independent technician is more useful than a generic condition label. Check hydraulic leaks, pins, tyres or tracks, attachments and safety equipment.

Compare complete written offers

Request machine price, tax treatment, transport, import costs where relevant, included attachments, warranty and delivery date. Clarify who handles faults discovered on arrival. E10Shop has no confirmed commissionable seller for complete excavators or wheel loaders yet; this is an independent buying guide, not an offer to sell.
